La representación del acto educativo como recurso en el cine de Truffaut

Abstract

En este Trabajo Final de Grado se analiza el uso del acto educativo, en la obra de François Truffaut, como recurso formal en las tramas narrativas de algunas de sus películas. Truffaut es un cineasta que siempre estuvo comprometido con la infancia y la educación y así se refleja en muchos aspectos de su obra, sobre todo las películas en las que la educación es el eje central de la historia. El objetivo del presente trabajo es investigar la aplicación del acto educativo en el cine de Truffaut que, a través de historias lineales, es utilizado para la creación dramática y la composición de la puesta en escena. Esta es una oportunidad de reinventar el cine del director francés, aparentemente encasillado. Las películas en las que trabajaremos a lo largo de la investigación son Los cuatrocientos golpes (1959) y El pequeño salvaje (1969). Así pues, a través del estudio de varias escenas, centradas en la aplicación del acto educativo, se pretende estudiar de manera exhaustiva qué consecuencias tiene cada una de ellas para la composición general del film. Concluyendo que el autor utiliza este recurso a modo de crítica ante el sistema educativo impuesto y la importancia que se le otorga a la creación de los diálogos y la utilización del espacio de la mano de los personajes.

This work analyzes the use of the educational act, in the work of François Truffaut, as a formal resource in narrative plots of some of his films. Truffaut is a filmmaker who was always committed to children and education and this is reflected in many aspects of his work, especially the films in which education is the essential part of the story. The objective of the present work is to investigate the application of the educational act in films by Truffaut, through linear stories, is used for dramatic creation and composition of the staging. This is an opportunity to reinvent the film by French director, apparently typecast. The films in which we will work throughout the research are The 400 blows (1959) and The wild child (1969). Thus, through the study of various scenes, focused on the implementation of the educational act, is tried to study exhaustively what consequences have each to the overall composition of the film. Concluding that, the author uses this resource as a criticism to the imposed educational system and the importance given to the creation of the dialogue and the use of space by the hand of the characters
