dc.description.abstract | In this assignment, I will make a study over the organizational change and human resource management. Specifically, I will analyze the parts that take part in the organizational design of a company and its management of human resources, and then I will propose possible changes that could be implemented both in its organizational structure and management of human resources for a better performance of the company. For doing this, I will divide the work into three different sections. First, I will make the planning and development of the case I am going to study, where I will analyze each of the key variables that define the organizational design in the company that will be studied and the management of human resources. Secondly, in the results section, I will express the surveys answers of some of the workers of the company and I will also propose the necessary changes in the analyzed company, both in structure and in its personal department taking into account the current structure explained in the first paragraph, and the workers’ opinions drawn from surveys. Finally, we will discuss the most important findings of the implemented change in the business, and how new staff policies implemented in the company that would contribute to a better functioning of the same. Also, my aim with this assignment is to get less centralization in the enterprise and the creation of a human resources department all for increasing the staff motivation for making them to feel happy and comfortable while working in the company. The company that I will analyse is Macer, S.L., and I will investigate the degree of centralization, specialization, formalization, company departmentalization, chain of command and span of control, in addition to its human resources policy. | ca_CA |
