This review talks about different important facts about one of the most important problematic that actually we're fighting to; Alzheimer's Disease. Currently we have major breakthroughs in the field of research that provide us some data concerning to the possible origin and evolution, assesment techniques, diagnosis and treatment and intervention techniques regarding this condition. However, despite the large number of investigations, the definitive treatment for this disease has not been found, making important the professional role in regards of proper evaluation and intervention. Scientific literature proposes a combination of pharmacological and psychological therapies as an effective treatment for AD, although we know that this therapies will be more effective as far as less cognitive impairments subjetcts suffer. These are set out in our review. Today, we have a consistent prevention technique in identitifying the B-amiloyde protein brain presence; which could be used to delay the onset of the diasease by early detection of the same; wich will be possibe applying appropiate cognitive stimulation techniques.ca_CA
