dc.description.abstract	Este artículo trata de la luz que al diseño puede aportar la teoría de los signos empleada en su día por Charles Morris para el estudio de los fenómenos artísticos. Tras trasladar el enfoque semiótico de Morris al campo específico del diseño, se pasa a analizar los valores inherentes al mismo y cómo han ido evolucionando con el tiempo, dando lugar a un avance en la teoría del diseño.
dc.description.abstract	This article deals with the contribution to design of the theory of signs used by Charles Morris some time ago for studying the artistic phenomena. After applying Morris’s semiotic approach to the specific field of design, we analyze the values inherent to it and how they have been evolving over time, leading to an advance in the theory of design.
