In the psychopathy there is a discussion about the role of anxiety, some researchers reported low anxiety traits, nevertheless other
report weak correlation with low anxiety traits. Levels of anxiety has been observed that affect to performance on emotional Stroop
task, more specifically the high anxious group have a slowing down reaction times on negative words. The objective of this study is
examine how anxiety traits influence emotional Stroop task performance. The Emotional Stroop task was administered in a sample
71 females undergraduate students who have been assessed via PPI-R (a questionnaire designed to measure psychopathic traits
in non-incarcerated population). The results show that the low anxiety traits are associated with decrease in response time to
negative words, but not on positive and neutral words. Thus only fearlessness trait is related to performance on the emotional
stroop task. [-]

población no encarcelada).
