Abstract

El presente trabajo, incluido dentro de la modalidad de Materiales didácticos, consiste en la planificación de un proyecto de investigación multidisciplinar dirigido a alumnos de 4º de ESO para la construcción de una elemental ‘unidad aritmético-lógica’, que realice una suma binaria de dos números con tres dígitos. Ya sabemos que una unidad aritmético-lógica realiza muchísimas más funciones que la de una simple suma y de sólo 3 dígitos, pero para simplificar hemos llamado a nuestro pequeño aparato, una ‘unidad aritméticológica’. El trabajo parte de la introducción del sistema de representación binaria de los números enteros y del estudio del algoritmo de la suma. La utilización de una Hoja de Cálculo para la informatización del algoritmo de la suma en binario y la creación de un esquema eléctrico que simule la suma de diferentes casos de números de 1, 2, 3 y hasta 4 dígitos. Para terminar con una fase eléctrica de construcción con operadores lógicos de una pequeña ‘unidad aritmológica’ que suma dos números binarios de tres cifras. De esta forma se planifica la interdisciplinariedad entre las asignaturas de Matemáticas, Informática y Tecnología a través de una metodología docente de Aprendizaje Basado en Proyectos que pretende desarrollar las capacidades en alfabetización digital del alumnado con un mismo hilo conductor, demostrar que la luz suma.

Current document, included within the modality of teaching materials, consists on a multidisciplinary investigation Project scheduling, aimed to students from 4th Secondary Year, with the purpose of building a simple “arithmetic-logic” unit. Target would be a binary addition of two numbers with three digits. It is well-known that an “arithmetic-logic” unit could be used for other different purposes, normally with higher complexity. However, for naming simplification, our small device has been labelled as this way. This study starts with the introduction of the binary representation of the whole numbers, together with the study of the addition algorithm. The usage of a spreadsheet for the computerization of the binary addition algorithm and the creation of a circuit diagram to simulate the addition of different situations whit numbers of 1,2,3 or even 4 digits. The works is finished with an electrical building of logical operators for a simple arithmetic unit, which is able to do the addition of two binary numbers of three digits. This way, we would be able to plan the multidisciplinary nature among the different subjects (Mathematics, Computer Science and Technology) through a Project based learning, which aims to develop the digital literacy of the students with the same unifying thread, to demonstrate that the light is able to add.
