dc.description.abstractThe aim of the present study is to analyze how women are stereotyped in the Media, specifically in Disney films, and how this is reinforced through language, to construct gendered identities. Moreover, the objective of this study is to use English as a Medium of instruction as to create awareness among young learners of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) about the impact and consequences of the language used in the media. In order to do so, a lesson plan based on Bloom's Taxonomy Teaching Method will be used to present students the findings.ca_CA
