dc.description.abstract | The preparation of cluster complexes by tunning their properties by ligand modifications is an issue of current interest. In this sense, the present Bachelor’s Thesis has been focused on the development of new trinuclear molybdenum clusters with a central Mo3S4 unit containing diimine ligands and their activity to generate singlet oxygen. The specific objectives of this work are detailed herein: i. Synthesis and characterization of [Mo3S4Cl3(BPhen)3]Cl and [Mo3S4Cl3(dcmbpy)3]Cl cluster complexes. ii. Evaluation of the photoactivity of [Mo3S4Cl3(BPhen)3]Cl and [Mo3S4Cl3(dcmbpy)3]Cl cluster complexes in the singlet oxygen generation. | ca_CA |
