dc.description.abstractEl periodismo está muy presente en los programas de televisión diariamente, ya sea a través de los informativos o en los programas de tertulia. A lo largo de la historia, esta profesión ha estado reservada para hombres. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo averiguar el papel que juegan las periodistas en la actualidad en los programas de información. Para ello, se ha hecho un estudio tanto cuantitativo como cualitativo de los informativos y tertulias de las cadenas nacionales Cuatro y LaSexta a lo largo de una semana, con un total de 36 piezas. Se han analizado cuatro variables: los roles que ocupan las periodistas dentro de los programas, la presencia que tienen mediante un recuento de minutos, la relevancia mediática de las periodistas según el tipo de noticias tratadas y si hay signos de sexismo hacia ellas por parte de sus compañeros varones. Los principales resultados confirman que las periodistas ocupan menos puestos de poder e influencia mediática que sus compañeros y aparecen menos tiempo en televisión aportando, además, un mayor número de soft news que los periodistas varones.ca_CA
dc.description.abstractThe journalism is very present in the television programs every day by means of the news programs and the gatherings. Along the history, the journalism has been reserved for men. This investigation has the objective to know the paper that the women journalists play at present in the programs of information. To achieve the aim there have been done a quantitative and qualitative study of the programs of news and gatherings of the spanish channels Cuatro and LaSexta throughout one week. In total there are 36 pieces. Four variables have been analyzed: the roles that the journalists occupy inside the programs, the presence that they have by means of a count of minutes, the media relevance of the journalists according to the type of treated news and if there are signs of sexism towards them on the part of his companions males. The main results confirm that the journalists occupy fewer positions of power and media influence that his companions and they appear less time in television contributing, in addition, a major number of soft news that the journalists males.ca_CA
