Ús i abús de les noves tecnologies: influencia en la socialització i rendiment acadèmic de l’alumnat

Abstract

Les noves tecnologies són una eina imprescindible en l'educació i en la vida quotidiana de les persones en general. Formen part del nostre dia a dia i això és una realitat indiscutible. Les noves tecnologies són utilitzades tant en l'àmbit escolar com en l'àmbit familiar. És en aquest segon entorn on es pot trobar un abús en el seu ús, tant pel temps que es dedica com pels elements que s'utilitzen. És important conèixer els hàbits existents en la llar en referència a elements com videojocs, mòbils o Internet. Després de conèixer-los és necessari esbrinar com afecten aquests a la socialització dels xiquets i xiquetes de 10 a 13 anys (edat de l'estudi), així com en els resultats acadèmics obtinguts per aquests. Per a l'estudi s'utilitza una metodologia de caràcter quantitatiu, ja que a través de qüestionaris s'arriba a unes conclusions finals. Una vegada obtinguts els resultats pot observar-se que els xiquets i xiquetes objecte de l’estudi no dediquen excessiu temps a les noves tecnologies i sempre prefereixen les relacions personals directes, a la vegada que ajusten molt el temps dedicat a l’estudi. Partint de dites conclusions es podrà orientar i educar des de l'escola a l'alumnat en el bon ús de les noves tecnologies, siga a casa o en la resta dels àmbits socials, objectiu aquest important en la nostra professió.

New technologies are an essential tool in education and inthe everyday life of the people in general.They are part of our day to day and this is a fact undisputed.The new technologies are used both in the school environment and in the family environment.It is in this second environment where you can find an abuse in its use, both for the time that is spent and the items that are used. It is important to understand the existing habits in the home in reference to items such as video games, mobile phones or the Internet. After knowing them it is necessary to find out how they affect these in the socialization of boys and girls from 10 to 13 years (age of the study),as well as in the academic results obtained by them.For the study using a methodology of quantitative character, because through questionnaires you get to final conclusions. Once obtained, the results may be seen that boys and girls subject to the study do not spend excessive time to new technologies and always prefer direct personal relations, at the same time adjust the time spent in the Studio. Based on these conclusions will be able to guide and educate from the school to the students in the proper use of the new technologies whether at home or in the rest of the social areas, this important goal in our profession.
