Economy for the common good: the case of the Spanish enterprises

Abstract

To the extent that has passed the history of humanity, by aside, the most important values of the people (freedom, justice, peace, etc.) have faded, and, on the other hand, the economy has adapted to the needs of society based in general in the maximization of the profits of enterprises, eclipsing on many occasions the values of society and its role in the economy. The economy of the common good is a model that offers a possible solution to the lack of consideration for both society and the environment, both of these needs as main objectives. This work presents a vision of the role it plays in society and what your goals are, as well as the implementation of the practice in Spanish companies, and what is the situation in the same from the financial-economic point of view.
