El mito de la creación del mundo y el diluvio universal. Visión comparativa entre culturas y su representación en el arte Siglos XVI y XVII

Abstract

En el presente trabajo de investigación, se tratará de hacer un recorrido por los mitos en la antigüedad, haciendo hincapié en el mito de la creación del mundo y del diluvio universal. Para comprender este punto, se definirán los tipos de mitos que hay y se hará una descripción de lo que es un mito y cuál es su función. Se dará más importancia a los mitos que hay en el Antiguo Egipto, al ser considerada una de las civilizaciones más importantes de la historia, pero también a los mitos procedentes de otras culturas, como la babilónica, la griega y la maya, teniendo en cuenta las similitudes que pueda haber entre estos mitos. También se realizará una comparativa de las representaciones de obras de arte, que ha habido del diluvio universal, durante los siglos XVI y XVII.

In this research work, it will try to make a tour of the myths in ancient times, with emphasis on the myth of the creation of the world and of the flood. To understand this point, types of myths that must be defined and a description of what is myth and what is its function will be. More important will be the myths that exist in the ancient Egypt, to be considered one of the most important civilizations in the history, but also the myths from other cultures, such as the Babylonian, Greek and the Maya, taking into account the similarities that there may be between these myths. You will also perform a comparison of the representations of works of art, which has been the universal flood, during the 16th and 17TH centuries.
