The purpose of this work is to introduce the concept of coworking space, to understand the way of working of the new freelancers. Coworking is a relatively new phenomenon, but it is gaining users year by year. In coworking spaces the main values are sharing, collaboration and network. The TFM provides an historical account to understand the origins of coworking, how configure coworking centers, their form of financing and profitability and brief analysis of their evolution, for that it has been reviewing the existing scholarly and popular literature. Everything points to an increase of coworking practices, and consequently the number of coworkers, spaces and those who manage them. [-]
