Evaluación y Rehabilitación Neuropsicológica: Estudio de caso

Abstract

En este artículo se presenta la evaluación neuropsicológica y la propuesta de rehabilitación desarrollada del caso de una paciente que presenta alteración neuropsicológica atribuida a un accidente cerebrovascular hemorrágico, mediante la aplicación de diversos instrumentos estandarizados: El cuestionario TAVEC, el test CPT-II, subtests de la escala WECHSLER-III, subtests de la escala WAIS-III, el test de la búsqueda de la llave del cuestionario BADS, Fluencias Fonéticas (FAS) y semánticas. Apoyándonos en los resultados obtenidos de esta evaluación y el tratamiento aplicado en diferentes tiempos a lo largo de todo el proceso de rehabilitación, se presentan los resultados obtenidos, se esboza una futura línea de rehabilitación neurológica y se debate la importancia del apoyo familiar y de un enfoque multidisciplinario a la hora de la rehabilitación de la paciente.

This article presents the neuropsychological evaluation and the proposed rehabilitation of the case of a patient with neuropsychological alteration attributed to a hemorrhagic stroke, through the application of several standardized instruments: the TAVEC questionnaire, the CPT-II test, subtests of the WECHSLER-III scale, subtests of the WAIS-III scale, the key search test of the questionnaire BADS, phonetic fluency (FAS) and semantics. Based on the results obtained from this evaluation and the treatment applied at different times throughout the rehabilitation process, the results are presented, a future neurological rehabilitation line is outlined and discusses the importance of family support and a multidisciplinary approach for the rehabilitation of the patient.
