dc.description.abstract | The main goal of this project is the development of a videogame world and its assets. It will be composed by the creation of diverse environments, characters and different objects along with a description of the processes used. The final objective is to have a working world with diversity, interactivity and a really nice and attractive aspect starting from the main character that the player will have to control enjoying every bit of it and use him to interact in every possible aspect with the environment. Houses, trees and enemies are just a mere part of the big scene that combines all of the assets and they all have to respect a common style. All of the features that will be composing this project are meant to be integrated on the videogame “Out of the Cave” (see Appendix). It is a medieval action game set in a sandbox with fantastic elements and some hints of western inspiration where the player gets the possibility to interact with almost everything on the stage and cause action-reaction effects on the surroundings. The game mechanics will be funny for the sake of being funny so a lot of time can be spent just fooling around and spending some quality time discovering the joy it brings. It is directed to every person in the process or with the intention to make a “catchy” videogame with the purpose to make the best aesthetics for it for its objective public to fall in love at first sight. It has to be mentioned that even though the document is directed for the reader to be able to recreate everything inside this version of the game with learning purposes, it is not meant for the assets to be copied and redistributed with commercial purposes without asking permission and giving recognition and credit to its original author. Now decrypting those last words this can be freely used to recreate the same ways to develop a videogame learning and using the same process and individual tasks on new and original assets which will really make the author happy. Nothing else to say here besides taking the reading and development easy and enjoying every bit of it. | ca_CA |
