Comparativa entre diferentes modelos de intervención en niños con Autismo

Abstract

Dentro del aula podemos tener alumnos con una gran variedad de características, desde niños con dificultades de aprendizaje, con discapacidad, de diferentes países de procedencia…y todos tienen que sentir que forman parte un mismo conjunto. Por ello es muy importante saber cómo enfrentarse a cada situación. Durante este proyecto se va a presentar un modelo de intervención para trabajar con niños autistas, este es el de intervención en entornos naturales. Este se lleva a la práctica en el Centro de Educación Infantil y Atención Temprana de la UCV, para investigar su funcionamiento y eficacia que tiene sobre los niños con autismo, se ha pasado una entrevista a algunas madres y la profesora encargada de llevar a cabo esta metodología. Además para poder verificar la eficacia de dicha intervención se ha pasado también unas entrevistas a otros padres de niños con autismo, los cuales reciben otro tipo de intervención. Lo que podemos observar en los resultados es que a través de cualquier tipo de intervención los niños alcanzan sus objetivos, aunque una participación por parte de la familia siempre es más beneficiosa para su desarrollo.

In the classroom we may have different kinds of students, some which may have learning difficulties, some with some kind of disability, others coming from different countries, but all must have the feeling they belong to the same group. That is why it is so important to know how to proceed in each situation. During this project we have presented a special method to work with autistic children, which is the intervention in natural surroundings. This was done at the Centro de Educación Infantil and Atención Temprana at the UCV, in order to investigate the functioning and the efficiency it has on those autistic children. There have been meetings with some mothers and the teacher in charge of this method. Apart from this, so as to verify the efficiency of this intervention, there have been also meetings with other parents of autistic children, who received another kind of intervention. What we can conclude from the results is that, through any kind of intervention method, the children achieve their goals, however the intervention by means of the family is always more beneficial for their development.
