Retos relacionales en las familias reconstruidas: Un estado de la cuestión enfocado al niño

Abstract

El presente artículo refleja las relaciones más significativas que giran en torno al hijo inmerso en una familia reconstituida. Se ha elegido la figura del hijo ya que, de entre todos los miembros éste es el que mayor número de relaciones experimenta: tanto con los miembros de su familia de origen, como con los nuevos miembros adheridos a su nueva realidad familiar. Por otro lado, se exponen las consecuencias más significativas que la calidad y forma de las relaciones tienen en los hijos. Para ello, se ha realizado una revisión de la literatura científica con su foco en este tipo de familias y en sus miembros. Dado que la mayoría de la literatura se centra en los déficits y dificultades que envuelven a las familias reconstituidas, en el presente artículo se han intentado plasmar también, aquellos artículos que ofrecen una visión de las fortalezas que pueden desarrollar éstos miembros en el proceso de reconstitución familiar.

This article reflects the most significant relationships that revolve around the son immersed in a reconstituted family. The figure of the child has been chosen because, from all the members, it is the one with the greatest number of relationships, both with the members of their family of origin and with the new members adhered to their new family reality. On the other hand, the most significant consequences that the quality and form of relationships have on children are exposed. For this, a review of the scientific literature has been carried out with its focus on this type of family and its members. Since most of the literature focuses on the deficits and difficulties involved in reconstituted families, this article has also attempted to reflect those articles that offer a vision of the strengths that these members can develop in the reconstitution process family.
