Evaluación y mejora del perfil motivacional de los alumnos de una situación educativa en la asignatura de Valenciano en el curso de 4º de la ESO del IES Matilde Salvador

Abstract

En el presente estudio se pretende analizar el perfil motivacional en dos aulas de cuarto de la E.S.O. del centro IES Matilde Salvador en la materia de valenciano y, por otra parte, examinar si existe una relación entre el nivel motivacional y la manera en la que los alumnos aprenden. Así como, sí las diferentes variables contextuales, intención de aprender (expectativas) y estrategias de aprendizaje utilizadas influyen en el aprendizaje. Para ello se han formulado dos hipótesis. En la primera se prevé una relación significativa y positiva entre las variables contextuales y la intención de aprender; y, en la segunda se prevé una relación significativa y positiva entre la intención de aprender y las estrategias de aprendizaje. La muestra está compuesta de 51 sujetos y el análisis llevado a cabo se ha realizado a partir de la evaluación de tres cuestionarios: variables contextuales de la situación educativa, variables motivacionales de posicionamiento evaluados por los alumnos y estrategias de aprendizaje, evaluado por la profesora. Estos cuestionarios parten del Modelo de Calidad de Situación Educativa (MCSE) propuesto por Doménech (2006, 2007, 2011a, 2011b, 2012). Tras haber obtenido los resultados de los cálculos y su posterior tratamiento estadístico, se puede afirmar que existe una relación entre algunos factores que pertenecen a las variables contextuales y expectativas creadas por los alumnos, pero no existe una relación con las estrategias de aprendizaje utilizadas por éstos.

The present study focuses on analysing the motivational profile and whether there is a relationship between the motivational level and the way of learning of the students from the fourth year of Compulsory Secondary Education, who study in the high school of Matilde Salvador. The purpose of this is to see if the motivational factors, such as contextual variables, willingness to learn (expectations) and the learning strategies used, influence the motivation. Therefore, two hypotheses have been formulated regarding different expectations. In the first one, a significant and positive relationship between the contextual variables and the willingness to learn is expected and in the second hypotheses, a positive and significant relationship between the willingness to learn and the learning strategies used by the students. The sample is made up of 51 subjects, and the analysis carried out has taken place from the assessment of three questionnaires: personal and contextual variables in the Educational Situation, willingness to learn and expectations, and learning strategies assessed by the teacher. These questionnaires are based on the Education Situation Quality Model (in Spanish, MCSE) suggested by Doménech (2006, 2007, 2011a, 2011b, 2012). After having obtained the results regarding the statistical calculations, it can be said that there is relationship between some contextual factors, expectations created by the students, and the learning strategies used by these.
