Mejorar conductas en un niño con trastorno del espectro autista

Abstract

During the Practicum II intervention is carried out over a four-year-old boy diagnosed of TEA. The study starts with the completion of three interviews, the mother of X, the tutor of the classroom and the specialist in hearing and language, to discuss the status of the child at beginning of course 2015-2016, when he was enrolled in three years, at the end of that same year and currently. With this comparison is intended to get autistic traits in which the child hasn’t improved over this period of time to be able to speak on them. These behaviors, which are on which will work in this study are: eye contact, self-regulation of the voice and constant change of topic of conversation. The objective of this work is therefore two comparisons: on the one hand, the comparison of results obtained through direct observation of three-day pre and post intervention; and, on the other hand, a comparison of the results obtained during the four weeks of intervention, which were carried out different activities, which consisted of: “The train of the looks” through different materials to work the eye contact, a “habladometro” for self-regulating the voice and the game of "Referee" to work the change of topic of conversation. The results of these comparisons are favorable at two of the three worked behaviors. It is true that these results could have improved working individually more without so many elements that call your attention and distract him.

Durante el Practicum II se ha llevado a cabo una intervención sobre un niño de cuatro años diagnosticado de TEA. El estudio comienza con la realización de tres entrevistas: a la madre de X, a la tutora del aula y a la especialista de Audición y Lenguaje. Estas entrevistas se realizaron para hablar sobre el estado del niño a principio del curso 2015-2016, cuando fue escolarizado en tres años, a finales de ese mismo curso y actualmente. Con esta comparativa se ha pretendido obtener aquellos rasgos autistas en los que el niño no ha mejorado a lo largo de este tiempo para poder intervenir sobre ellos. Estas conductas, que son sobre las que se trabajará en este estudio son: el contacto visual, la autoregulación de la voz y el cambio constante de tema de conversación. Por ello, el objetivo de este trabajo es realizar dos comparaciones: por un lado, la comparación de resultados obtenidos a través de la observación directa de tres días pre y post intervención; y, por otro lado, una comparación de los resultados obtenidos durante las cuatro semanas de intervención, en la que se realizaron diferentes actividades, las cuales consistían en: “El tren de las miradas” a través de diferentes materiales para trabajar el contacto visual, un habladómetro para autoregular la voz y el juego de “El árbitro” para trabajar el cambio de tema de conversación. Los resultados obtenidos de estas comparaciones son favorables en dos de las tres conductas trabajadas. Es cierto que se podían haber mejorado estos resultados trabajando de forma más individual, sin tantos elementos que llamaran su atención y lo distrajeran.
