dc.description.abstractThis project consists in the design of a lesson plan for an elementary class in the Official Language School (EOI in Spanish). The aim of this paper is to elaborate a teaching proposal about Saint Valentine’s Day by using Task-based Language Teaching (TBLT) as the main approach and also focusing on the theories in which this approach is based. This has been done by examining different articles and books of experts in the field of linguistics. Regarding the teaching proposal, the lesson is divided in five distinct sessions of approximately two hours per session. During these sessions, various tasks are accomplished and explained afterwards. The lesson plan follows a specific structure, that is, it starts by a warm-up, followed by some pre-tasks, then the main task and finally one or more post-tasks.ca_CA
