Observació i gestió de les emocions en Educació Infantil

Abstract

La present investigació analitza les emocions dels nens en l’aula d’infantil, i proposa recomanacions per als docents per a millorar la gestió d’eixes emocions. L’objectiu és detectar quin tipus d’intervencions propicien canvis positius en les emocions mostrades pels nens. L’instrument que s’ha utilitzat per portar a terme l’estudi és el mètode observacional, ja que aporta objectivitat mitjançant un sistema de categorització creat a partir d’un sistema base de categories (S. Denham). La metodologia observacional consta d’un registre creat per a la pressa de dades tal i com es pot veure a l’estudi. En la present investigació es realitzen sis sessions d’observació a cadascun dels tres nens i tres nenes d’una aula de tres anys. S’ha creat una categorització d’emocions i de tipus d’intervencions per a que l’observador anote cada canvi emocional del nen, i si eixe canvi emocional s’ha produït degut a la intervenció de part d’algun altre individu present. S’han registrat les emocions que presenten i s’han classificat en positives, negatives o neutres. En el registre de dades han quedat plasmats tots aquells canvis d’emocions que han ocorregut i les intervencions de part del docent o dels companys que s’hi han donat. Allò que pretén l’estudi es proposar eines per a incentivar els estats emocionals positius dels nens i reduir o eliminar els negatius. Una vegada realitzat l’anàlisi de les dades, s’ha pogut extraure diverses conclusions. S’han identificat tres tipus d’intervencions que afavoreixen el desenvolupament de la classe, que són; “Minimització”, “Enfocada en el problema”, i “Reforç positiu; mentre que el tipus d’intervenció “Enfocada en l’emoció negatiu” deu intentar evitar-se en qualsevol.

This research analyzes the emotions of children in Nursery School classrooms and proposes recommendations for teachers to improve the management of those emotions. The main aim is to identify what types of interventions cause positive changes in the emotions shown by children. The methodology that has been used to conduct the study is the observational method, as it provides objectivity through the system of data categorization (A. Denham). This methodology uses a registry to save the data as can be seen in the study. In this research six observation sessions are conducted for each of three boys and three girls in a three years old classroom. A categorization of emotions and types of interventions has been created for the observer to register each child's emotional change, and whether this change has happened due to the intervention of another individual. Emotions have also been classified as positive, negative or neutral. In the data record have been embodied all those emotion changes and the interventions of the teacher or peers which have caused them. The final aims of this study is to propose tools to encourage positive emotional states of children and reduce or eliminate the negative ones. Once fulfilled the data analisis some conclussions arise Three types of interventions have been identified that ease the class development, which are; “Minimisation”, “Focused on the issue”, a “Possitive reinforcement; while the “Focused on the emotion negative” intervention should be avoided in any case.
