La figura del monstruo en el dibujo infantil

Abstract

El presente estudio tiene como objetivo analizar las posibles influencias visuales y que produce el maestro/a sobre la producción de los niños/as en sus dibujos. Todo ello a través de la figura del monstruo. Para poder realizar este análisis se llevan a cabo dos actividades divididas en dos sesiones, donde 12 niños y niñas de 3 años de edad realizan dos dibujos de la figura de un monstruo, un dibujo en cada una de las sesiones. En la primera sesión se dibuja un monstruo sin ningún tipo de contacto con esta figura previamente mientras que en la segunda sesión se realiza una explicación y se proyectan tres figuras de tres monstruos diferentes sacados de la literatura infantil. El análisis de dichos dibujos se realiza siguiendo las pautas de análisis y la clasificación por etapas evolutivas que plantea el autor Viktor Lowenfeld. Para comprobar la presencia de estas influencias se tienen en cuenta el análisis de los dibujos y se realiza una comparación entre el primer dibujo y el segundo... En base a esta comparativa se pone de manifiesto que la figura del maestro y aquellos elementos visuales que interfieren en el niño producen en mayor o menor medida una influencia en la producción de sus dibujos, en este caso en concreto, en la figura del monstruo.

By taking into account the monster’s shape, this current study has the objective to analyze the possible influences provided by the teachers and by the expectable visual influences which students carry because of their concrete sociocultural context. In order to do a proper analysis, two activities are carried out by twelve 3 year-old students in both sessions. The first sessions is about drawing a monster without the influences of the teacher. However, at the beginning of the second lesson the teacher introduces three different monsters which come from children’s literature for young learners and then, the students do their second picture of a monster. The analysis of those pictures follows the instruction and the evolutive period sorting proposed by Viktor Lowenfeld. In order to appreciate those influences, both pictures are compared. The results show that teacher’s instructions and visual elements make an influence on children when they draw a monster.
