Comparativa entre los sistemas de triaje MTS y SET-Mat

Abstract

Debido al aumento de pacientes que acuden al servicio de urgencias resulta importante utilizar un sistemas de triaje para clasificar a los pacientes según la urgencia. En el estado español se utilizan principalmente dos sistemas de triaje: el Sistema de Triaje Manchester y el Sistema Español de Triaje. El objetivo es analizar las diferencias y similitudes existentes entre el Sistema de Triaje Manchester (MTS) y el Sistema Español de Triaje (SET).

Due to an increase in the number of patients attended by the Primary Emergency Service it is important to use triage systems to set the order in which patients must be attended according to their needs. In the spanish public health system two main triage systems are being used: The Manchester Triage System (MTS) and the Spanish Triage System (SET). The target of the research is to analyze the differences and similarities between both systems (MTS and SET).
