Actitudes y creencias sexistas que influyen en la violencia

Abstract

Este trabajo se presenta como un análisis del estado de la cuestión del maltrato que deriva de los mitos y creencias existentes en la sociedad. Pretende ser una revisión crítica sobre los supuestos sociales sobre los que se sustentan los mitos y las creencias en el amor. Para ello, a través de una metodología argumentativa y crítica, se pondrá en marcha una dirección hacia la consideración del sexismo como camino hacia el maltrato. La hipótesis principal es que la sociedad marca unos mínimos y máximos morales que indirectamente desembocan en una serie de actitudes y comportamientos, entre ellos el comportamiento violento machista. La estructura del presente trabajo se divide en varias partes. En primer lugar, se analizará la violencia de género desde un punto de vista general, llevando a cabo así una estructura en la que poder asentar ciertas características lingüísticas, humanas y sociales. En segundo lugar, se estudiarán los roles de género; qué se entiende por felicidad y qué tipo de micromachismos coexisten en la actualidad. En tercer lugar, se abordarán los mitos y creencias sexistas, el amor romántico y los prejuicios, estudiando minuciosamente en qué se sustentan estos postulados. Por último, se analizará el sexismo benévolo y el sexismo hostil, así como presentar su contraste con datos obtenidos a través de un test de elaboración propia.

This paper presents an analysis of the state of the issue of abuse stemming from myths and beliefs existing in society. This is intended to be a critical review of the assumptions on which social myths and beliefs are based on love. To this end, through an argumentative and critical methodology, that a direction towards the consideration of sexism as a way to abuse will be launched. The main hypothesis is that the society marks minimum and maximum moral indirectly lead to a series of attitudes and behaviors, including violent sexist behavior. The structure of this paper is divided into several parts. First, gender violence will be analyzed from a general point of view, thus carrying out a structure in which to settle certain linguistic, human and social characteristics. Second, gender roles will be studied; what is meant by happiness and what kind of “micromachismos” coexist today. Thirdly, myths and sexist beliefs, romantic love and prejudice, poring over what these assumptions are based will be addressed. Finally, the benevolent sexism and hostile sexism analyze and present their contrast with data obtained through a test authors.
