Una pintura atribuïble a Adrienn Thomaeszkey Key i dues "Ribaltesques".

Abstract

L’autor atribueix al taller del pintor d’Anvers Adriaen Thomasz Key una pintura conservada al Museu de Belles Arts de Castelló, provinent de la col·lecció del metge i diletant Rafael Forns Romans, tot i comparant-la amb altres obres de la seua mà, com ara els calvaris de la col·lecció Gerstenmaier i del Museu de San Telmo de Donosti. Dues pintures més, conservades als convents de franciscans de Sancti Spiritu de Gilet i de monges carmelites de Caudiel serien, segons l’autor, producte segur del taller fundat per Francesc Ribalta a València, amb una més que probable participació en elles del pintor Vicent Castelló.

The author attributes to the workshop of the painter Adriaen d’Anvers Thomasz Key a painting preserved in the Museum of Fine Arts of Castelló, which comes from the collection of the doctor and dilettante Rafael Forns Romans. This is a result of the comparison of this work to other author’s works like the Stations of the Cross of the Gerstenmaier collection and of the Museum of San Telmo in San Sebastian. Two more paintings preserved in the Franciscan convent of Sancti Spiritu of Gilet and in the Carmelitan nuns of Caudiel would doubtless be -according to the author- a product of the workshop founded by Francesc Ribalta in Valencia, with a most likely participation of the painter Vincent Castelló.
