LA INVESTIGACIÓN SOBRE LA CONSTRUCCIÓN SOCIOLÓGICA, EDUCACIONAL Y DE GÉNERO DEL MUNDO ACTUAL A TRAVÉS DE LA OBRA DE REGINA JOSÉ GALINDO

Abstract

La conexión directa entre arte y público es uno de los múltiples propósitos de la educación artística. Esta comunicación, confirma que el punto de partida más importante y más aclaratorio es aquel que viene dado por la propia artista. La entrevista que realizamos a la artista de performance Regina José Galindo pretende aclararnos qué lenguaje formal, corporal y de significado encierra la praxis artística que ha ido desarrollando a través de los años y su vinculación a la denuncia sobre el sistema patriarcal. También para comprender a través de sus obras el análisis sociológico y casi antropológico que ejecuta la artista de las personas y sus trabas educacionales que impiden el consenso, la tolerancia o la visión del Otro en nuestras sociedades marcadas, paradójicamente, por una poderosa y útil tradición artística que lograría dicha unión entre las colectividades humanas.

The direct connection between art and the public is one of the many purposes of art education. This paper confirms that the most important and clarifying starting point is that given by the artist herself. Our interview with the performance artist Regina José Galindo aims to clarify the meaning of the formal and body language which envelops her artistic practice and in which she has developed through the years, and its connection with her denouncement of the patriarchal system. This paper also furthers understanding of her work through the artist’s sociological, and almost anthropological, analysis of people, and the educational barriers that prevent consensus, tolerance or vision of the Other in our societies, marked––paradoxically––by a powerful and useful artistic tradition that achieves this artistic union between human communities.
