Given the difficulty of access to credits for the Spanish population, this study examines the feasibility of microcredits as a tool for financial and social inclusion of specific groups. Specifically, this paper analyzes the effectiveness of microcredit programs granted in Spain, in particular the development of microcredit programs such as Microbank, the social bank of "La Caixa" in the period 2010-2013. This analysis concludes that microcredits are a funding source that helps generating self-employment, facilitates entrepreneurship among women and improve youth unemploymentca_CA
