dc.description.abstract | This work is about one of the most interesting subjects in our days, the integration of children suffering some discapacity in normal schools, specially those with Down’s syndrome. Firstly we’ll explain what is the Down’s syndrom: although it is one of the most common syndroms and we distinguish children with this illness immediately, we don’t know much about its features. When we see a boy or girl with Down’s syndrome, we can recognize they suffer it but we don’t know that they can achieve anything they want with a lot of effort and lots of positive attitude like Pablo Pineda, a guy with a High Degree in teaching and who suffers Down’s syndrome. Not everybody called “normal” are able to get a university degree and it happens the same with Down’s syndrom people, there will be some who achieve it and some that don’t. But, as we have already explained, this situation not only happens with Down’s syndrom people but with everybody in the world, we are all different and each one gets different goals, targets, challenges, etc. according with our capacities. 4 We’ll also talk about the concern that lots of teachers have because they don’t feel ready to have children with Down’s syndrom in their classes. The reason is because of the ignorance about this matter, because they don’t get much information at universities and because of the concern that means deal with this new challenge. Despite this unknowledge, according with the results obtained, we can see that most of the teachers face this challenge with success and look for orientation and any kind of training in associations | ca_CA |
