A partir de los restos óseos y de las representaciones figuradas en cerámica, piedra o metal, se analiza el papel que
tuvieron los perros en los rituales, la economía y la imagen social de los iberos. Un animal que a pesar de su importancia
como acompañante del hombre, al estar poco constatado arqueológicamente ha pasado bastante desapercibido en
la historiografía de la Cultura Ibera en relación a otras especies de animales con mucho mayor peso en el registro
arqueológico. [-]

From the remains of bones and figurative ceramic, stone or metal representations, we analyze the role that dogs
had in the rituals, the economy and the social image of the Iberians. An animal that despite its importance as a man’s
companion, has few traces in the Archaeology. It has gone fairly unnoticed in the historiography of the Iberian Culture in
relation to other species of animals with much larger archaeological record. [-]
