dc.description.abstractThis paper is the final project of the Máster Universitario en Profesor/a de Educación Secundaria Obligatoria y Bachillerato, Formación Profesional y Enseñanzas de Idiomas. New technologies have changed the ways in which we obtain information and thus, the paradigms of education have evolved too. The emergence of the ICT and the LKT has resulted in the appearance of new types of methodologies. These new methodologies do not require attending class or depend on the teacher anymore. Students have the opportunity of developing their learning process autonomously. This paper is based on the design and implementation of a Massive Online Open Course or MOOC in a second year of Bachillerato with the objective of improving the students’ writing skills for the composition of the Selectividad exam. This implementation has been carried out using the blended learning methodology, using jointly on-site classes and autonomous work. The results have suggested that using new technologies is very motivating for the students, that this MOOC has been successful and that autonomous learning can offer significant improvement for the motivated students.ca_CA
