Design and development of a 3D PC video game with simulation construction and real-time resource management
Caceres Frias, David Aaron
The objective of this Technical Report is to present the project that has been developed in the context
of the subject VJ1241 - Final Degree Project. Specifically, this work focuses on the design and
development of a 3D video game for personal computer (PC) in which the player assumes the role of a
construction company manager.
The player will be able to obtain construction contracts and will manage these works taking into
account different important elements of construction.
The key to success in the game is to carry out the works in the city without any inconvenience and to
achieve a positive reputation in the city.
The novelties that I am trying to propose are the management of construction resources in real time,
simulating the real management that exists on the construction site and its drawbacks.
The results have been better than I thought and have fulfilled my expectations. It has been a very
rewarding experience.

Development of a 3D action-adventure game with minimalist low-poly aesthetic and AI pathfinding
Garcia Torres, Ausias
This document represents the Final Degree Work report of Ausias Garcia Torres in Video
Game Design and Development bachelor's degree at the Jaume I University.
This work consists of the prototype of an action-adventure game developed with Unity
implementing the different mechanics of the game such as solving puzzles, exploring, and
fighting enemies. In addition, the work consisted of developing assets of the game scenario
modelling 3D assets and using techniques such as post-processing shaders and VFX to give
it a more stylized artistic finish.
The project also uses an AI algorithm so that the enemies in the game know how to react to
stimulations from other enemies and make a sense of group and coordination between the
agents.

Timoner Romero, Sergi
This document aims to cover the development of Dark Sorcerer, a Visual Novel videogame.
This project relies heavily on Artificial Intelligence software to streamline the process as
much as possible. A videogame prototype is created by applying these recently emerged
technologies, verifying the potential of these tools for the game development field.

Multiplayer video game for public spaces
Rufo Tena, Víctor
Raid and Go is a two dimensions (2D) raid-style turn-based online video game that aims
to be locate to public spaces, such as parks or iconic city locations but it could be used
in long-distance public transport as well. The work covers two large development blocks,
one consisting on the creation of a system of multiplayer rooms where players can enter
and leave whenever they want, and the other that represents the complete development
process of a game. Academically, this document consists of the final degree project
report of the Video game Design and Development bachelor´s degree at the Jaume I
University.
