The scope of this essay is to study the herding effect, specifically within the sports betting market. For this, it has been compared the influence that both the herding effect and the well-known as "Tipsters" or "Gurus" have in this market. The hypothesis is to prove whether a Tipster can make an impact on another player's decision or not. This way, the Tipster's influence can be analyzed in the sports betting market.
